Megan Boulton
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
Currimundi
Hi, I’m Megan Boulton, a musculoskeletal physiotherapist originally from the UK.
I completed my First-Class Honours degree in Physiotherapy at Plymouth University (2023), after starting my journey back in 2017 as an NHS physiotherapy assistant. Those early years in acute inpatient care and stroke rehabilitation gave me a solid foundation in clinical reasoning, communication, and patient-centred care — skills I’ve continued to build throughout my career.
During my studies, I led the university women’s rugby physiotherapy clinic, worked with the Exeter Football Academy, and volunteered with a local rugby club. I also ran my own sports massage therapy business for three years and gained certifications in trauma medical management in football, sports massage, and taping techniques.
Since graduating, I’ve specialised in musculoskeletal and orthopaedic physiotherapy, and was promoted to Senior MSK Physiotherapist within just one year. My main interests include lower limb injuries, post-surgical and orthopaedic rehabilitation, and return-to-sport conditioning. I love combining education, manual therapy, and strength & conditioning principles to create tailored, evidence-based plans that help people achieve long-term, sustainable results.
Outside of work, I’m passionate about travel, exploring new cultures, and living an active lifestyle — whether that’s surfing, running, playing football, or strength training. I’m driven by a love of movement, continuous learning, and helping others get back to the activities that make them feel their best.
